- Coordinate with consultants (architects, engineers, and designers) to ensure architectural details are in line with project requirements.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of architectural works.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and method statements to ensure compliance with building codes and project requirements.
- Attend site meetings and coordination sessions with clients, consultants, and authorities.
- Resolve discrepancies or conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) drawings.
- Assist in value engineering by suggesting alternative materials, designs, or construction methods to enhance cost efficiency.
- Ensure all architectural elements are constructed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with BCA (Building and Construction Authority) regulations, URA (Urban Redevelopment Authority) guidelines, and other relevant local authorities.
- Ensure all work adheres to Singapore’s construction standards, including the BCA Code of Practice.
- Prepare and submit architectural-related documents and reports for regulatory approval.
- Ensure high-quality workmanship and timely progress.
- Address technical issues and site constraints by liaising with consultants and contractors.
- Monitor and coordinate the rectification of defects and non-conformances.
- Ensure proper documentation of architectural works, including as-built drawings, material submissions, and warranty documents.
- Assist in project handover and defect rectification before the Temporary Occupation Permit (TOP) and final completion.
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox sessions, and Taiso exercises, actively participating in safety and housekeeping tasks.
- Attend WSHC (Workplace Safety and Health Committee) meetings.
- Submit daily and safety reports.
- Provide night duty support when necessary.
