- Assist the M&E Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising all Mechanical & Electrical works to ensure timely and quality installation according to project requirements.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, and method statements with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Review M&E drawings against architectural, structural, and other trade drawings to identify clashes, omissions, and technical discrepancies prior to site execution.
- Provide technical support to M&E Supervisors and subcontractors during installation, ensuring works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations (SCDF, BCA, PUB, EMA, NEA, LTA).
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work progress, verify workmanship quality, and ensure prompt rectification of non-conformances.
- Assist in preparing M&E work schedules, material tracking lists, and manpower forecasts to support smooth site operations and adherence to project milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants to resolve technical issues, clarify design intent, and follow up on comments until approval is obtained.
- Verify subcontractor material submissions, manage procurement tracking, and ensure timely delivery of long-lead items.
- Support Testing & Commissioning (T&C)activities by preparing test procedures, monitoring testing progress, and ensuring proper documentation and sign-offs.
- Maintain accurate project documentation such as inspection forms, T&C records, as-built drawing updates, and QA/QC submissions.
- Attend project, technical, safety, and coordination meetings to report M&E progress, highlight issues, and follow up on action items.
- Ensure all relevant M&E works comply with RA, SWP, and permit-to-work procedures in coordination with the WSH team.
- Track and verify M&E progress for monthly reports, progress claims, variation work assessments, and material quantity checks.
- Provide guidance to junior engineers or coordinators to improve technical understanding, coordination ability, and documentation quality.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or data centre preferred).
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, design principles, local codes, and construction practices.
- To provide particulars of completed Industrial Manufacturing projects, with area more than or equal to 26,000 sqm per project in the last 5 years (Apr 2019 – Apr 2024) in Singapore.
