- To coordinate with consultants / subcontractors on the shop drawings / samples / method statements submission and approval and keep all involved parties updated of the latest changes.
- To attend project / technical meeting and resolve site and technical issues with owner/ consultants for the site progress to proceed smoothly.
- To verify the work done on site is in accordance with the approved drawings / specifications/ authorities’ requirement and ensure that the subcontractors carry out rectification for non-compliance.
- Conduct minimally weekly M&E meetings with the M&E subcontractors to ensure that their work is in proper sequence and ensure that the site supervisors are aware of the work sequence to avoid clashes of site activities.
- To resolve site issues with consultants / subcontractors / supplier timely to prevent delay to the construction progress.
- To ensure that the proper documentation is always kept up to date for proper records and operational needs of the project.
- To cooperate with the safety department and carry out the assigned duties within the safety framework including permit to work.
- To coordinate with consultants and contractors for equipment and combined services testing so that site is ready for authorities’ inspection.
- Prepare M&E progress report or any other reports required by the client or consultants.
- Compile and check completeness and accuracy of all operational and maintenance manuals from suppliers / sub-contractors on completion of project for submission.
- Check and ensure compliance with the requirements of all required quality standards including but not limited to ISO 9000, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, Green Mark and Buildability Score.
- Conduct risk assessments and management based on tender drawings and documents and site requirements.
- Develop Value Engineering Cost Down, including cost-effective solutions for M&E.
- Proposed M&E work schedules and lead times to create suitable project schedules using Microsoft Project (or equivalent) for tender project
